Job summary

Howett-Thorpe Recruitment Consultants Limited is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage a varied client portfolio and work across accounts, tax and advisory areas. You will have direct access to Partners, take on increasing responsibility and help shape service delivery within a small team.

The role offers hybrid and flexible working in a collaborative, client-facing environment with opportunities for development and progression.

Qualifications

• Qualified or nearing qualification with ACA/ACCA in UK practice.
• Experience managing a varied client portfolio within a small firm.
• Strong accounts knowledge and tax exposure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients with autonomy and partner access.
• Prepare statutory and year-end accounts for clients.
• Compute corporation tax and assist personal tax work.
• Produce management information for clients and partners.
• Support junior team members and improve processes.
