Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Senior Accountant for a Bristol-based chartered accountancy practice. You will lead hands-on delivery, preparation and review of year end accounts, tax, VAT management, bookkeeping and wider services for a varied client portfolio.

You can be AAT, ATT, ACA or ACCA qualified or bring equivalent experience, with a path to progress alongside managers and partners in a supportive, growing firm.

Qualifications

• You may be AAT, ATT, ACA or ACCA qualified or have developed your career through experience in UK accountancy practice.
• Experience delivering year end accounts and related services across sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Senior Accountant level with potential for progression within a growing chartered firm.

A growing chartered accountancy practice based in Bristol is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their team taking on the hands on delivery, preparation and review of year end accounts, tax and wider services to a mixed and varied industry client portfolio. You will also support the wider team as a key addition to this successful firm.

This highly regarded, independent chartered firm of accountants based in Bristol is led by two directors and has wide ranging clients across differing sectors, turnovers and industry range to cover smaller sole traders and partnerships, alongside a large client base of OMBs and SMEs and larger corporates

Joining as a Senior Accountant based in their Bristol offices you will be responsible for the hands-on delivery, preparation and review of year end accounts, tax, VAT management accounts, bookkeeping and wider accountancy services to a varied client portfolio of sole traders, partnership and limited companies across wide ranging industry sectors, You will carve a key right hand support role to managers and partners within this successful and highly regarded firm of chartered accountants with opportunity to progress and develop as a key addition to this successful team.

Profile

You may be any of AAT, ATT, ACA or ACCA qualified or have developed your career through experience only. You will have a background within UK accountancy practice delivering services across year end accounts and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients. You will have developed your career to the Senior Accountant levels and be looking for a career move within a growing and successful chartered firm of accountants and an environment within which you can carve a valued, key position supporting the wider management and director/partner team developing and progressing within your career.

Job Offer

Circa £35,000 - £43,000 + dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable.
