Job summary

Streets LLP is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join our team in a senior role, supporting a varied client base from startups to charities and family businesses. You will liaise with clients, manage an efficient accounting function, and coach junior staff while building your own client portfolio.

The role offers potential for progression, with opportunity to develop client ownership and a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified.
• 3 years experience in General Practice.
• Travel to client premises and between offices may be required.
• Knowledge of accounting standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Liaise with clients to resolve queries professionally.
• Complete assignments within budget and on time.
• Produce draft tax computations for clients.
• Produce year-end accounts for clients in line with accounting standards.
• Review work of junior staff.
• Support development of junior staff.
• Prepare schedules for tax returns.
• Complete VAT returns.
