Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Qualified Senior Accountant in Tiverton to take hands-on delivery and review of accounts and tax, while managing service delivery for a diverse client base. You will work closely with the Partners to deliver value and progression opportunities.

You should hold a professional qualification (AAT/ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA) with a broad background in accountancy practice, handling year-end accounts and tax for sole traders, partnerships and small to medium enterprises.

Qualifications

• Experience in year-end accounts and tax for varying client types (sole traders, partnerships, Ltd companies).
• Ability to lead, review and deliver accounting/tax services with a hands-on approach.
• Experience in advisory and planning projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead on management and delivery of accounts and tax for clients.
• Review financial statements and tax returns for a portfolio of clients.
• Develop client relationships and support partners with advisory work.

The firms partners are looking for a key right hand support who can lead on the management and delivery of accounting/tax and wider services, along with adding value to clients on advisory and planning projects, with a route on offer to develop and progress in your career.

Description

Joining this firm as a Qualified Senior Accountant you will bring your background as an all-rounder year end accounts, tax and general accountancy practice professional, to service sole traders, partnerships and limited company OMBs, SMEs with a hands-on approach, alongside managing the full delivery and building client relationships. Alongside being hands on with year end accounts and tax preparation, compliance and delivery on this side you will help develop a wider team work on added value, advisory and planning work to clients as you develop in the firm and role. You will carve a career within this firm as key support to the firms partners carving an influential role and career within this leading firm, with career progression on offer.

Profile

You will hold any of the AAT, ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualifications with a career background in accountancy practice having developed your career to around the senior accountant levels. You will have an all-around year end accounts & tax career background gained within any of small, medium or larger independent, Top 50, Top Tier accountancy firm environment, as an all-round general accountancy practice professional.

Job Offer

Circa £30,000- £40,000 + dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable.
