Job summary

ACCA Careers in Exeter seeks a Senior Accountant to join their established practice. You will handle year-end accounts, personal and corporate tax compliance, and oversee VAT and bookkeeping for a varied client base.

You will act as a key support to managers and partners while developing client relationships. You may be qualified or finalist in ACCA, ACA, ATT, or AAT, or have equivalent experience in broad accountancy services for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

Qualifications

• Qualified or finalist in ACCA/ACCA/ATT/AAT or equivalent practice experience.
• Experience delivering accounts, tax, and advisory services for various client types.
• Previous client management and team mentoring experience is advantageous.

A successful accountancy practice based in Exeter is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their team preparing and reviewing year end accounts, tax compliance across both personal and corporate tax along with overseeing VAT, Bookkeeping and wider all around role, as key right hand support to the firms managers and partners. You will have increasing client management responsibility, develop teams and progress in your career.

Description

Joining as Senior Accountant based from the firms Exeter offices you will be responsible for the preparation and review of year end accounts, personal and corporate tax compliance and oversee wider services, acting for clients across varied industries and turnover ranges. You will have increasing client management responsibility, help develop and mentor teams and progress in your accountancy practice career within a successful and growing, chartered firm of accountants.

Profile

You may be qualified, or part/finalist across any of AAT, ATT, ACA, ACCA etc, or have developed your career through experience only to date, with a career background within accounts/tax and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment of any size. You will have developed your career to around the Senior Accountant levels and be looking for a challenging new career opportunity. Full or Part time working hours can be explored, mouldable around the preferences of the right candidate.

Job Offer

Circa £30000 - £40,000 dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable.
