A highly successful firm of chartered accountants based in Bristol is searching for a key Client Accountant and Manager to join their team as right-hand support to the directors, with opportunity to carve an influential role within the firm delivering year end accounts and wider services to a wide range of clients. There is also scope for reviewing and supporting juniors with excellent career progression potential on offer.
This growing firm offers a smaller, close-knit team environment within an exciting, fast-growing and forward-moving practice. The firm has a fantastic team culture and provides a route to progression. Having grown to service a client base close to six hundred, they act for a wide-ranging sector and turnover of clients, including a growing focus in food and drink and hospitality. They are very successful in this field, with around 20-30% of their clients in food and drink representing 30-40% of turnover. In addition to year-end accounts, tax and wider compliance and planning services, they offer an outsourced finance function service acting as a finance department for clients. Fully digitised, tech-focused, all cloud-based and paperless office with a focus on Xero.
Joining as Client Accountant and Manager based from the firm’s Bristol offices, you will be a key support to the directors. You will undertake a role focused on hands-on delivery of year-end accounts preparation, alongside reviewing, developing client relationships and mentoring a growing team. You will play a lead role across these areas and work on wider advisory/business services delivering project work with the Directors, carving an influential role within the firm as a pivotal addition.
You will be any or a combination of AAT, ATT, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualifications, with a career background and strength in accounts/tax and general accountancy practice service delivery to a wide range of sole traders, partnerships and limited company clients. You should have developed your career to around Senior Accountant / Manager levels and be seeking genuine progression and development opportunities.
