RECfinancial are working with a boutique but growing and ambitious accountancy practice in North Leicestershire who are keen to appoint a Senior Accountant to play a key role in its next phase of growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACCA/ACA or finalist (study considered)
• Experience in bookkeeping and accounts preparation for varied clients
• Experience handling VAT, corporation tax and personal tax returns
• Proactive in addressing complex tax issues and ensuring timely submissions
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to be primary point of contact

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping for all clients on monthly, quarterly and yearly cycles
• Accounts preparation for limited companies, ST and Partnerships
• Prepare and review VAT returns, corporation tax returns and personal tax Returns
• Ensure tax computations are correct and submissions are timely
• Prepare and review VAT and support clients as their main contact

Our client is ideally looking for a qualified ACCA/ACA or finalist but study will be considered.

What is the role of the Senior Accountant?

• Bookkeeping for all clients, monthly, quarterly and yearly
• Accounts preparation for limited companies, ST and Partnerships
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns, corporation tax returns and personal tax returns for clients.
• Ensuring all tax computations are correct and that submissions are made on time, addressing any complex tax issues that arise
• Preparing and reviewing VAT
• Supporting clients as a primary point of contact. Ensuring end to end satisfaction

• Salary up to £55,000 DOE
