Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA qualification or finalist status.
• Experience in bookkeeping for multiple clients and preparing accounts.
• Knowledge of VAT, corporation tax and personal tax returns.
• Ability to provide advisory support and build client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping for clients on monthly, quarterly and yearly cycles.
• Prepare and review accounts for limited companies, STs and partnerships.
• Prepare and review VAT returns, corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.
• Ensure tax computations are correct and submissions are made on time.
• Prepare and review VAT.
• Support clients as primary contact and ensure end-to-end satisfaction.

What is the role of the Senior Accountant?

This is a varied, hands-on position where you’ll manage your own portfolio while supporting clients with both compliance and advisory needs. Responsibilities will flex depending on your experience, but will include:

• Bookkeeping for all clients, monthly, quarterly and yearly
• Accounts preparation for limited companies, ST and Partnerships
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns, corporation tax returns and personal tax returns for clients.
• Ensuring all tax computations are correct and that submissions are made on time, addressing any complex tax issues that arise
• Preparing and reviewing VAT
• Supporting clients as a primary point of contact. Ensuring end to end satisfaction
