Job Title: Senior Accountant

Our client is a well-established chartered accountancy practice based in Nottingham, seeking an enthusiastic Senior Accountant. The successful candidate will ideally be QBE, AAT, ACA, or ACCA part-qualified. This role involves a mix of tax and accounts work, making it ideal for a Semi Senior or Senior Accountant looking to join a growing team.

With this role, the successful Senior Accountant will have excellent opportunities to progress by handling a portfolio, expanding their knowledge, and advancing their career within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare management accounts for a variety of clients
2. Prepare statutory accounts
3. Prepare corporate tax computations and personal tax returns
4. Prepare VAT returns
5. Handle a range of clients in a face-to-face role
6. Work within a team and communicate effectively with clients

Candidate Requirements:

• QBE, qualified accountants, or part-qualified candidates
• Experience with cloud accounting software is essential
• Strong knowledge of statutory accounts preparation
• Able to commute to Nottingham

Working Conditions:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Free parking available
