Responsibilities include:
- Posting cash daily accurately and promptly.
- Ensuring bank reconciliations are current and maintained.
- Training new starters.
- Investigating outstanding cash received and discrepancies on bank reconciliations, BACS returns, and OOD cheques.
- Managing the month-end process.
- Running daily ABTs.
- Serving as the central point for cashiering queries.
- Reviewing and clearing the cashiers' inbox.
- Confirming alias acceptance for all payments received under different names.
- Providing support and cover for the Manager in the cashiering role.
- Handling transfers at all banks and monthly bank interest.
- Updating and signing the daily checklist.
- Processing daily tax receipts.
- Carrying out banking duties, including taking cash and cheques to the branch.
- Managing daily post (cheques and remittances).
- Performing ad hoc duties or project work as required.

Desirable qualifications:
- Experience with Excel and Word, including intermediate skills like VLOOKUPs and PivotTables.
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in Cashiering or Sales Ledger.
- Formal qualification such as AAT or equivalent is advantageous.
