The successful candidate will play a central role in identifying and securing sponsorship revenue from active and relevant asset managers. This is a frontline commercial role with a strong emphasis on new business development, strategic account growth, and helping shape the commercial success of newly launched events. The ideal candidate will bring experience selling high‑value sponsorships within financial services events, with a strong understanding of institutional investment markets and consultant relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sponsorship revenue across With Intelligence's consultant conference portfolio, with a particular focus on strategic consultant partnerships and flagship client conferences
  • Lead sponsorship sales activity for the Wilshire annual client conference, securing and growing relationships with key industry sponsors
  • Identify, target, and convert new sponsor clients
  • Build and execute a proactive new business strategy focused on growing sponsorship participation across existing and newly launched events
  • Own pipeline generation through self-sourced outreach, market mapping, networking, referrals, and strategic prospecting
  • Develop tailored sponsorship propositions that align sponsor objectives with consultant and allocator audiences
  • Partner with the Commercial Director and event leadership teams to shape commercial strategy, pricing, packaging, and positioning for consultant-led events and new launches
  • Gather market intelligence and client feedback to support the development of new event concepts, sponsorship products, and partnership opportunities
  • Grow and retain selected strategic accounts, increasing long‑term sponsor investment and engagement across the events portfolio
  • Maintain a strong understanding of institutional investment trends, consultant dynamics, and the competitive event landscape
  • Collaborate closely with production, marketing, delegate acquisition, and leadership teams to ensure successful event delivery and sponsor and event partner satisfaction

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sponsorship sales, ideally within financial services, institutional investment, or B2B conference/events businesses
  • Experience selling sponsorship around conferences, summits, or client events targeting institutional investors, consultants, or asset managers
  • Strong understanding of the institutional investment market, including consultant, allocator, asset manager, and service provider relationships
  • Demonstrated success in new business acquisition and pipeline generation
  • Experience working on new event launches or developing sponsorship revenue for emerging products is highly desirable
  • Confident engaging and negotiating with senior‑level stakeholders across sales, marketing, and executive functions
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build commercial momentum in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and consultative sales skills
  • Commercially strategic with the ability to contribute ideas around product development and sponsor engagement
  • Highly motivated, resilient, and target‑driven
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work cross‑functionally across multiple stakeholders and projects

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • Strong sponsorship revenue growth across consultant‑led conferences and strategic event partnerships
  • Successful commercial delivery of the Wilshire annual client conference and future consultant event launches
  • Consistent new logo acquisition and development of a healthy sponsorship pipeline
  • Revenue targets exceeded through a combination of new business and strategic account growth
  • Positive contribution to the expansion and long‑term scalability of With Intelligence's consultant events portfolio
