£50-55k + OTE | Permanent | Reporting to Director of Procurement and Revenue Operations

We’re looking for a highly organised, commercially astute, and relationship‑driven Senior Account Manager to join the team at Collectiv Food. In this senior role, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of high‑value customers, driving strategic growth, deepening multi‑level relationships, and ensuring they receive exceptional service and tailored product solutions across their full basket requirements.

As a senior member of our account management function, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping customer strategy, identifying and executing up‑sell and cross‑sell opportunities, influencing internal teams, and proactively steering customers toward long‑term, scalable partnerships with Collectiv Food.

You’ll be based at our Kings Cross office in London, with weekly travel to visit customers on‑site (primarily London locations).

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Strategic account ownership - Lead a portfolio of key and high‑growth accounts, developing long‑term account plans that strengthen retention, expand revenue, and embed Collectiv Food across multiple customer sites.

  • Scale newly onboarded customers - Drive the seamless transition from onboarding to established key accounts, ensuring early wins translate into sustained commercial growth.

  • Multi‑stakeholder relationship building - Build deep, trusted relationships across customer organisations - from senior decision makers to kitchen teams - positioning Collectiv Food as an indispensable partner.

  • Lead commercial proposals - Analyse, shape, and lead responses to customer RFPs and tenders, crafting commercially sound solutions and managing follow‑through to conversion.

  • Cross‑functional leadership - Partner closely with our Procurement & Operations teams to unlock new opportunities, resolve challenges, and deliver optimal commercial and operational outcomes.

  • Commercial accountability - Own and exceed individual and team revenue targets, margin expectations, and customer KPIs.

  • Champion sustainability - Ensure sustainability principles guide customer conversations, product recommendations, and commercial decision‑making.

  • Team contribution & leadership - Contribute to the development of junior team members through knowledge‑sharing, coaching moments, and leading by example in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Proven senior commercial experience - Demonstrable success in senior account management 5 years+, business development, or similar customer‑facing roles within F&B, ideally managing complex or high‑revenue accounts in the hospitality sector.

  • Advanced commercial & analytical capability - Strong proficiency with spreadsheets and confidence working with complex data sets (pricing, product lists, margins, forecasting, and reporting).

  • Strategic thinking with execution excellence - Ability to build long‑term account strategies while delivering day‑to‑day operational excellence.

  • Exceptional communication & influence - Skilled at navigating senior stakeholders, negotiating commercial terms, and driving alignment across internal teams.

  • High attention to detail - You spot inconsistencies quickly and take pride in delivering accurate, high‑quality work.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset - Energised by fast‑paced, early‑stage environments and comfortable adapting to change.

  • Passion for food & technology - A genuine interest in food systems and the role technology and AI can play in building a more sustainable future.

Added Bonuses

  • You’ve gained experience working in a fast‑paced start‑up environment.

  • Understanding of food safety regulations or certifications (\"e.g., HACCP, BRC, FDA\").

What you’ll get

  • 25 days annual leave plus 8 public holidays

  • Competitive salary, industry‑matching pay reviews with agreed commission structure.

  • Great exposure and ability to impact a fast‑growing, mission‑driven food start‑up
