Job Description

We seek an outcomes-oriented, highly collaborative Account Executive with an entrepreneurial spirit to capitalize on this significant market opportunity and meet ambitious revenue targets. MuleSoft is the fastest-growing business unit within Salesforce, and the UK is one of its fastest-growing markets globally. Knowledge of Business Services is advantageous but not required, similar to API Management and Integration expertise.

This is not a typical tactical software sales role. You will be a key member of a close-knit, cross-functional team responsible for owning and executing the go-to-market strategy in your territory and leading the sales cycle. We aim to change how our customers build software and conduct business. You will sell strategic business outcomes through long-term, high-growth engagements.

This role will challenge you to grow both personally and professionally. Most leaders in our Field organization have advanced through internal promotions, and you'll be supported by some of the smartest professionals in the industry who will help you excel in your career.

What you will be doing

  1. Proactively identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities
  2. Strategically prospect into CTOs, CIOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and business executives
  3. Build strong relationships that lead to growth opportunities
  4. Collaborate with Solution Architects and the Professional Services team to ensure customer satisfaction
  5. Work with enterprise ecosystem and channel partners to maximize deal sizes
  6. Participate in sales enablement, advanced sales training, and leadership development programs

What you need to be successful

  • Recent experience demonstrating success in leading complex, significant sales to IT and business leaders
  • A proven track record of exceeding quotas in software sales roles
  • Experience closing large deals, typically over $200K
  • Enthusiasm for hunting new territories and building a business from scratch
  • A focus on customer success with a consultative, outcome-based sales approach
  • Ability to communicate honestly and directly, prioritizing others' best interests (radical candor)
  • Strong team orientation with a company-first mindset—supporting colleagues to achieve results together
