Job Description

We seek an outcomes-oriented, highly collaborative Account Executive with an entrepreneurial spirit to help us seize this large market opportunity and meet significant revenue targets. MuleSoft is the fastest-growing business unit within Salesforce, with the UK being one of its fastest-growing markets globally. Knowledge of Business Services, API Management, or Integration is advantageous but not mandatory.

This role is more than a standard software sales position. You will be a vital part of a close-knit, cross-functional team responsible for owning and executing the go-to-market strategy in your territory and leading the sales cycle. Our goal is to transform how our customers build software and conduct business. You will sell strategic business outcomes through long-term, high-growth engagements.

What you will be doing

  1. Proactively identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities
  2. Strategically prospect into CTOs, CIOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and business executives
  3. Build strong relationships to foster growth opportunities
  4. Collaborate with Solution Architects and the Professional Services team to ensure customer satisfaction
  5. Partner with enterprise ecosystem and channel partners to maximize deal sizes
  6. Participate in sales enablement, advanced sales training, and leadership development programs

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Recent experience leading complex, high-value sales to IT and business leaders
  • A proven track record of exceeding quotas in software sales roles
  • Experience closing large deals, typically over $200K
  • Excitement for prospecting new territory and building a business from scratch
  • A customer-centric, consultative, outcome-focused sales approach
  • Ability to communicate directly and honestly, prioritizing others’ best interests
  • Strong team orientation with a company-first attitude—"be a good human" is a core value, supporting collaboration and collective success
