Job Description

We seek an outcomes-oriented, highly collaborative Account Executive with an entrepreneurial spirit to help us capitalize on this significant market opportunity and meet ambitious revenue targets. MuleSoft is the fastest-growing business unit in Salesforce, with the UK being one of its fastest-growing markets globally. Knowledge of Business Services, API Management, and Integration is advantageous but not required.

This role is not a standard tactical sales position. You will be a vital member of a close-knit, cross-functional team responsible for owning and executing the go-to-market strategy in your territory and leading the sales cycle. We aim to transform how our customers build software and conduct business. You will sell strategic business outcomes through long-term, high-growth engagements.

As a salesperson, you will be challenged to grow both personally and professionally. Most leaders in our Field organisation advance through internal promotions, and you will be supported by some of the most talented individuals in the world to help you excel in your career.

What you will be doing

  1. Proactively identify, qualify, and close a sales pipeline
  2. Strategically prospect into CTOs/CIOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and business executives
  3. Build strong relationships that lead to growth opportunities
  4. Partner with Solution Architects and collaborate with Professional Services to ensure customer satisfaction
  5. Work closely with enterprise ecosystem and channel partners to maximize deal sizes
  6. Participate in sales enablement, advanced sales training, and leadership development programs

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Recent experience demonstrating success in leading complex, significant sales to IT and business leaders
  • A proven track record of exceeding quotas in software sales roles
  • Experience closing large deals, typically over $200K
  • Excitement for hunting greenfield territory and building a business from scratch
  • Focus on delivering customer success through a consultative, outcome-based sales approach
  • Ability to communicate honestly and directly, prioritizing others’ best interests
  • Strong team collaboration and a company-first mentality—"be a good human" is a core value, supporting each other to achieve results
