Job summary

ASSA ABLOY UK is seeking a Senior Technical Specification and Support Manager to act as the organisation's senior technical authority across electronic access control systems. You will lead complex solution design, training, and aftersales support across the UK & Ireland, driving technical capability within internal teams and partner networks.

In this role you will own and validate high‑risk projects, manage escalations, and mentor colleagues, ensuring robust, scalable, and compliant access

Qualifications

• Experience with electronic access control and security systems.
• Strong system design and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of networking, IP systems and cybersecurity.
• Experience in technical assistance, escalation management, and mentoring.
• Familiarity with enterprise access control platforms, compliance standards and validation/testing.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for electronic access control systems.
• Lead design and validation of complex access control solutions and integrations.
• Own and enhance technical competency through training and knowledge transfer.
• Provide 2nd line technical assistance and manage escalations.
• Interface between product, engineering, support and field for continuous improvement.
