Job summary

Enorth Resourcing Limited is recruiting a Senior Support Engineer for a growing MSP in Milton Keynes. You will own complex technical challenges, act as final escalation, lead major incidents, and mentor junior engineers to develop their skills.

You will work in a hybrid setup across enterprise clients in the UK, with exposure to Microsoft 365, Azure, and networking, plus on-call coverage and a focus on service improvements.

Qualifications

• Senior technical support or systems engineering experience, MSP or enterprise IT preferred.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID).
• Hands-on Azure administration (VMs, networking, identity management).
• Networking skills: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewall configuration.
• PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Hyper-V and VMware.
• Proven incident leadership and mentoring track record.

Responsibilities

• Serve as final escalation for complex technical issues and lead incident management across the client base.
• Act as lead engineer during major incidents, coordinating response and driving resolution.
• Mentor junior support engineers through hands-on guidance and documentation standards.
• Partner with engineering teams on root cause analysis and service improvements.
• Design and implement support tools, automation scripts, and monitoring solutions.
• Consult with customers on infrastructure and security best practices.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for high-priority coverage.
