Job summary

Our client urgently needs a strong 3rd line Support Engineer for their End User Support team. The role demands 3–5+ years in 3rd line/infrastructure support, with solid Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Azure skills.

Hybrid working is offered: 50% from home and 50% from the Derby office. You will collaborate with AMs, PMs, Service Delivery and customer IT teams to deliver solutions and resolve complex incidents.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years' experience in 3rd Line / Infrastructure support, preferably MSP
• Strong Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Azure knowledge
• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy experience
• Good networking knowledge including TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls and VLANs
• Experience with Hyper-V and/or VMWare virtualization
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting Citrix DaaS / Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments
• PowerShell scripting and automation skills
• Experience with SQL Server administration and troubleshooting desirable
• Strong understanding of backup, disaster recovery and security technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
• Ability to work closely with AMs, Project Managers, Service Delivery and customer IT teams
