Job summary

Bidford on Avon Primary School in Warwickshire seeks a SENDCo to lead SEND provision on a permanent 0.5 FTE basis. You will work with the Headteacher, teachers and families to develop inclusive practice, ensure EHCPs are high quality and that pupils with SEND access high-quality teaching.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to safeguarding. You will monitor progress, coordinate external professionals, and promote Christian values within the school

• Experience identifying needs and implementing effective provision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the school's SEND provision and strategy.
• Ensure high-quality adaptive teaching within classrooms.
• Coordinate identification, assessment and review of SEND pupils.
• Support staff to develop SEND knowledge and practice.
• Monitor progress and adjust priorities for improvement.
• Collaborate with parents, carers and external professionals.
• Oversee EHCP processes and statutory requirements.
• Manage Learning Support staff to maximise impact on learning.
