Job summary

The Diocese of Coventry Multi-Academy Trust seeks a 0.6 FTE SENDCo to lead strategic development of SEND and inclusion, delivering high-quality, personalised provision for all pupils.

You will establish and lead the new Specialist Resource Provision for Communication and Interaction, driving inclusive practice and life chances for children with complex needs. Coaching staff and contributing to SLT are core aspects.

• Experience using data and research to inform strategy and improve outcomes.

About This Role

This is a non-class-based role, enabling you to focus on high-impact leadership and provision.

The Successful Candidate Will

• Lead the strategic development of SEND and inclusion, ensuring high-quality, personalised provision for all pupils
• Establish and lead our new Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) for Communication and Interaction, creating a truly inclusive environment for pupils with complex needs
• Support and develop staff through coaching, professional guidance and modelling excellent inclusive practice
• Drive high expectations and aspirations for all learners, particularly those facing additional barriers
• Contribute as a key member of SLT to whole-school improvement, strategy and decision-making
