Days Lane Primary School is seeking a SENDCo to lead the school’s SEND provision and work with staff, parents and external agencies to secure the best outcomes for pupils with diverse needs.

You will shape SEN Support Plans, monitor progress and ensure high-quality inclusive teaching across the school. QTS is required, with the National Award for SEN Coordination or progression toward it; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and inclusive teaching approaches.
• Ability to formulate, implement and review SEN Support Plans effectively.
• Excellent written applications for additional local authority support.
• Clear communication with staff, parents and external agencies.
• Highly organised, proactive and committed to professional development.

Responsabilités

• Shape and deliver high-quality SEND provision across Days Lane Primary School.
• Ensure pupils with additional needs receive essential support and guidance to thrive.
• Lead and drive forward the school's inclusive ethos.
• Collaborate with staff, parents and external agencies on pupils' needs.
• Formulate, implement and review SEN Support Plans.
• Write applications for additional support to Local Authority and other agencies.
