Trumpington Park Primary School is seeking a proactive SENDCo to lead our Assistant SENDCo/Inclusion team from January 2027. The role is permanent and full-time within Meridian Trust, with a SENDCo allowance of £2,885.

You will shape SEND provision, work with staff and external agencies, and drive improvements in teaching and learning for SEND pupils. The appointment includes staff training, safeguarding responsibilities, and a mix of non-contact duties with occasional class teaching.

Formación

• Has NPQ SENDCO or NAS SENDCO qualification.
• Experience leading SEND teaching across the primary age range.
• Proven track record of improving SEND provision in a primary school.
• Knowledge of SEND provision, legislation and inclusive teaching practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the SENDCo/Inclusion team and collaborate with staff and outside agencies.
• Develop and shape SEND practices to improve outcomes.
• Provide staff training to review strategies and teaching methods.
• Maintain safeguarding and child protection standards.
