Job summary

Wellesley Park Primary School in England is seeking a passionate SENDCo to join our committed team on a 0.6 FTE basis. You will lead provision for pupils with SEND across the school and work with families and external agencies to ensure inclusive practice.

We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner with a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, and a willingness to undertake SENDCo qualification if needed. Attendance at safeguarding and wellbeing is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified SENDCo or willingness to undertake the SENDCo qualification.
• Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and current SEND legislation.
• Commitment to safeguarding, wellbeing and removing barriers to learning.

Responsibilities

• Shape and lead provision for pupils with SEND across the school.
• Work with senior leaders, staff, families and external agencies.
• Champion inclusive practice to secure the best outcomes for pupils.
