Job summary

The Radcliffe School in Wolverton is seeking a SENDCo to join our team from January 2027. You will work with three existing SENCOs, contributing to excellent educational opportunities and a coordinated SEND approach across the school.

Experience mentoring staff and delivering high standards in SEND provision are key. You do not need NASENCO qualification; we offer training and support to develop your skills while you complete a relevant qualification.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS and be willing to undertake a qualification
• Ability to teach English and/or Science is essential
• We have mentoring and support available for new staff

Responsibilities

• Identify and support all students with SEND across the school
• Meet statutory requirements of the SEND code of practice
• Coordinate teaching, learning and assessment for SEND in line with school policies
• Liaise with staff, parents and outside agencies to provide guidance and support
• Provide staff CPD on teaching students with SEND
• Ensure consistent approaches to SEND across departments
• Monitor progress of SEND students and implement interventions
• Quality assure SEND team and students’ work
