Prospero Teaching is recruiting a SENDCo for a mainstream academy in North Hertfordshire. The role suits an experienced SENDCo or a qualified teacher with robust SEND experience seeking leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status with strong SEND experience.
• Experience leading SEND provisions in a school setting.
• Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate support for pupils with SEND in both primary and secondary settings.
• Identify barriers to learning and suggest practical classroom adaptations.
• Develop and review EHCPs and individual support plans.
• Maintain accurate records of pupils' needs and progress.
• Collaborate with families and external professionals to support inclusion.
