Job summary

Targeted Provision in the United Kingdom is recruiting SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of young people with SEND and SEMH needs. Roles include in-person, online, and hybrid tuition across KS1–KS5, with local authorities supporting placements.

You will typically have 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and an Enhanced DBS. Work is self-employed with flexible, part-time to full-time hours and safeguarding is a priority.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• QTS / QTLS qualification and safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Support pupils by planning lessons, delivering tutoring, and reporting progress.
• Uphold safeguarding standards and create a safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with local authorities and schools to match opportunities.
