Job summary

TARGETED PROVISION LTD is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to work with children and young people with SEMH and SEND needs. Roles are available across in-person, hybrid, and remote formats, with flexible hours from part-time to full-time.

You’ll teach Maths, English, or Science, leveraging trauma-informed approaches to engage disengaged and vulnerable learners. A QTS/QTLS and Enhanced DBS are required, with opportunities to collaborate with local authorities and schools across the UK.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
• Enhanced DBS clearances and 2+ professional references
• UK-based with right to work in the UK, including remote roles
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teens, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs (including MLD/SLD/PMLD)
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• Contribute to raising education standards for young people with SEND and SEMH needs
