Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of Young People with SEND and SEMH needs. You will deliver Maths, English, or Science tutoring in person, online, or hybrid formats, across KS1–KS5 as appropriate.

We welcome candidates with a minimum of 2 years teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and an Enhanced DBS. This self-employed role offers flexible hours, ongoing CPD, and a supportive team that balances safeguarding with impactful learning.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years teaching, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualifications: QTS or QTLS.
• Compliance: Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• Location: UK-based with right to work in the UK.
• Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science for SEND/SEMH learners.
• Plan lessons and report progress; provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 as appropriate for your skills.
• Contribute to safeguarding and create a safe learning environment.
