Job summary

Targeted Provision Ltd. is actively recruiting SEND tutors and teachers in the UK to deliver Maths, English, or Science tutoring to learners with SEMH/SEND needs. Opportunities include in-person, online, and hybrid formats, with flexible part-time to full-time hours designed around your schedule.

Candidates should have 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and a safeguarding mindset. Self-employed status is common, with DBS support offered where needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• Subjects: Maths, English, or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• UK-based with the right to work in the UK (including remote/online).
• Safeguarding knowledge and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to learners with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan and report lessons and give regular feedback on student progress.
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools with trauma-informed tutoring.
• Engage in Safer Recruitment processes and maintain safeguarding standards.
