Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking Core Subject SEND Tutors and Teachers (Maths, English, or Science) to transform the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners across the UK. Roles are self-employed with flexible in-person, hybrid, or remote teaching opportunities.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, and are committed to trauma-informed, child-centred tutoring for SEMH/SEND needs. DBS and references can be arranged if needed.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) is required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references are needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person, online, and hybrid tuition for Maths, English, or Science to SEND/SEMH learners.
• Support KS1–KS5 students referred by local authorities and schools with trauma-informed tutoring.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular progress feedback.
• Contribute to raising standards for SEND and SEMH learners and support vulnerable young people.
