Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to deliver Maths, English or Science tuition to learners with SEMH and SEND needs across the UK. Roles offer in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching with flexible hours and a trauma-informed approach.

You will work with disengaged and vulnerable learners, plan sessions, report progress, and collaborate with the SEND team. QTS/QTLS and Enhanced DBS are required or facilitated by us.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) required
• Enhanced DBS (we can assist) and 2+ professional references
• UK base with right to work in the UK and safeguarding knowledge

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tuition for Maths, English, or Science to learners with SEMH and SEND needs
• Plan and deliver flexible tutoring and mentoring; report progress
• Complete lesson planning and provide regular feedback on student progress
• Support the mission to raise education standards for SEND learners and related needs
