Job summary

TARGETED PROVISION LTD in the UK is recruiting SEND Tutors and Teachers to work flexibly in person, hybrid, or online. You will support pupils with SEMH and SEND across KS1–KS5, planning engaging lessons and reporting on progress.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, Enhanced DBS, and the right to work in the UK. The role is self-employed with competitive pay (£28–£35/hour), mentoring, and CPD access.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
• Based in the UK with right to work, including for remote/online roles
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 with flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Plan and report on lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• Contribute to improving standards of education for young people with SEND and SEMH needs
