Job summary

Targeted Provision Ltd. is seeking SEND Tutor/Teacher candidates to deliver in-person, hybrid, and online Maths, English or Science tuition for students with SEMH and SEND needs in the UK.

You will work flexibly as a self-employed tutor, collaborating with local authorities and schools to support disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. Requirements include 2+ years teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, Enhanced DBS, and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in trauma-informed way.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• Based in the UK with right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tutoring to children, teenagers and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Be part of a mission to raise the standard of education for young people with SEND and SEMH.
