Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to work with schools and local authorities, delivering Maths, English, or Science tuition for SEND/SEMH learners in a trauma-informed, flexible manner.

Role is self-employed and offers in-person, hybrid, and remote opportunities with competitive pay and ongoing CPD/mentoring support to help transform the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• Subjects: Maths, English, or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• UK-based with right to work in the UK, including remote/online roles.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Support pupils KS1–KS5 with trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on progress.
• Contribute to raising standards for SEND learners within the community.
