Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to deliver Maths, English or Science tuition to children and young people with SEMH and SEND needs. Roles include in-person, online, and hybrid teaching, with flexible hours.

You will plan and report on progress, work in a trauma-informed way, and join a mission to raise standards for disengaged and vulnerable learners. A self-employed basis and local authority referrals support your flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths and/or Science
• QTS / QTLS certification and safeguarding knowledge

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• Raise standards of education for SEND and SEMH learners including MLD, SLD, and PMLD
