Job summary

BrightTeach is seeking SEND tutors to provide one-to-one or small group tutoring across ages from early years to post-16. Tutors design personalised lessons aligned with learners' assessments and EHCPs, building rapport with complex children to promote engagement.

Tutors may also offer pastoral support, monitor progress, and work with a multi-disciplinary team to support transitions and outcomes. The role is flexible, with part/full-time opportunities and DBS required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke, individualised lessons to learners with SEND.
• Build rapport with learners to enable engagement with education.
• Provide pastoral support alongside academic tutoring as needed.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team when required.
• Record progress and adapt lessons to EHCP or PEP outcomes.
