Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to transform the lives of disengaged learners with SEND and SEMH needs in your community, delivering Maths, English or Science tuition across in-person, online, or hybrid formats.

You’ll work flexibly on a self-employed basis with 2+ years of teaching experience, QTS/QTLS, DBS support, and local authority referrals; join a trauma-informed team dedicated to safeguarding and impactful tutoring.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
• Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
• Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online jobs
• Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
• Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 - KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
