Job summary

Targeted Provision is seeking qualified SEND tutors and teachers to support young people with SEMH and SEND needs across Maths, English, or Science. Roles are available in person, online, or hybrid, with flexible hours and a self-employed basis.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) is required.
• DBS check and two professional references are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for young people with SEND and SEMH needs.

Skills

Familiarity teaching English Maths or/

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
