Job summary

Targeted Provision Ltd in the UK is seeking SEND tutors and teachers to deliver Maths, English, or Science tuition in person, online, or hybrid formats for learners with SEMH and SEND needs.

The role is self-employed with flexible hours and competitive pay, offering £28–£35 per hour and opportunities to work with local authorities and schools to transform the lives of disengaged learners.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a trauma-informed way.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
• UK-based and right to work in the UK (including remote/online roles)
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• Deliver trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring to support disengaged and vulnerable learners
• Engage with local authorities and schools to plan flexible tutoring opportunities
