Job summary

Powertutors UK is seeking SEND tutors to support learners across Woking and surrounding areas, starting in September. Roles are term-time only and paid £25–£35 per hour, with flexible commitments from 2–15 hours per week.

You’ll work with children and young people on EHCPs, delivering Maths and English at primary or secondary levels, GCSE preparation, EYFS, or independence support, with full briefing and EHCP-aligned planning.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent qualification is required.
• Experience with SEND learners is essential.
• Confidence with complex, multi-need profiles is expected.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed or low-demand (PDA) approaches is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Maths and English at Primary or Secondary level.
• Prepare GCSE content where applicable.
• Deliver EYFS play-based learning and independence support as needed.
• Support learners with EHCPs and ensure consistency with briefing before sessions.
