Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd. is seeking a SEND Tutor to deliver Maths and English to students with EHCPs who cannot attend mainstream education. The role involves working 1:1 with learners, planning engaging sessions and adapting to each student's needs.

The position is based in Bolton with flexible daily hours from one to five hours, and starts December 2026. The successful candidate will hold a teaching qualification, have experience with EHCPs and a passion for making a difference in the lives

£30 per hour (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

Vision for Education are looking for a SEND Tutor who can teach Maths & English to students with EHCPs who are unable to attend education. The desired SEND Tutor will be working 1:1 with students with special educational needs and disabilities. The SEND Tutor role is based in Bolton and long term to provide consistency for students. Sessions can be one - five hours per day (during or after school hours) depending on the student's needs.

Requirements

The desired SEND Tutor will have:

• A teaching qualification
• Experience of working with students with EHCPs
• An ability to plan and deliver Maths and English sessions
• A passion for making a difference to the lives of young people
