Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd invites applications for SEND Tutor roles in Derby, offering 1:1 Maths and English tutoring to students who cannot access mainstream education. Roles can be taken full-time or part-time with flexible start dates and local travel to schools, homes, or community settings.

You will deliver sessions at various levels, tailor approaches to individual learners, and monitor progress with regular reporting to demonstrate development and learning gains.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver Maths and English sessions.
• Experience of working with young people with SEND, SEMH and trauma.
• Teaching qualifications/experience.
• Monitor progress and provide weekly reports.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach students who are unable to access mainstream education. The desired SEND tutor will teach Maths and English (at various levels) to support academic and personal development, 1:1 learning and a tailored approach to teaching. The aim of this role is to build knowledge and confidence so that leaners can grow. Sessions may take place online, in schools, local communities or in student homes.
