Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd. is seeking a SEND Tutor to deliver Maths and English to students with EHCPs. The role is 1:1 and across Manchester, with options for full-time or part-time engagement.

Start date December 2026, with sessions ranging from one to five hours per day depending on individual student needs. The ideal candidate will hold a teaching qualification and have experience working with EHCPs, with a passion for making a difference in young people’s lives.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with students with EHCPs and complex needs.
• Ability to plan and deliver Maths and English sessions to SEND learners.
• Proven ability to work effectively one-to-one or in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Teach Maths and English to SEND students in one-to-one settings.
• Deliver engaging sessions across Manchester to suit student needs.
• Contribute to continuity of education for students awaiting placement.

£30 per hour (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

The Role

Vision for Education are looking for a SEND Tutor who can teach Maths & English to students with EHCPs who are unable to attend education. The desired SEND Tutor will be working 1:1 with students with special educational needs and disabilities. The SEND Tutor role towork across Manchester and is long term to provide consistency for students. Sessions can be one - five hours per day (during or after school hours) depending on the student's needs.

Requirements

The desired SEND Tutor will have:

• A teaching qualification
• Experience of working with students with EHCPs
• An ability to plan and deliver Maths and English sessions
• A passion for making a difference to the lives of young people
