Buckinghamshire College Group is seeking a dedicated SEND support role to assist learners with EHCPs as they transition from school to college and beyond across Amersham and Wycombe campuses.

The role focuses on coordinating EHCPs, building partnerships with schools and local authorities, and delivering engaging transition activities that promote employment, independent living and community participation. It is a full-time position with strong CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with SEND.
• Knowledge of EHCP processes and SEND Code of Practice.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support smooth transitions for learners with SEND.
• Build relationships with schools, families, and local authorities.
• Coordinate EHCP consultations, reviews, and transition planning.
• Organise transition events for prospective students and families.
• Promote progression to employment, independent living, and community participation.
• Empower learners to develop confidence and work-ready skills.
