Job summary

Webster Primary School in Manchester is seeking two SEND Teaching Assistants on a permanent contract (35 hours per week) to join our Resource Provision for 7 children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Specific Language Impairment, and to support SEND across the whole school.

The successful candidate will have a minimum NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or an equivalent qualification and/or experience, be resilient and enthusiastic, and work well in a committed team; start date 5 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum of NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification and/or experience.
• Experience of SEND across all Key Stage's is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support children with SEND across the school, including those in the Resource Provision.
• Assist with behaviour management and create a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the SEND team to implement strategies and support learning.
