Job summary

Teaching Personnel are recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to work in Mainstream Primary schools in Wisbech and surrounding villages. The role involves one-to-one support and general TA duties across different year groups, with some time spent out of the classroom.

Working days are typically 08:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday, with roles being temporary and potential to develop into long-term or permanent positions. Driving licence and willingness to travel to surrounding villages are requested.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school or similar setting within last 3 years (minimum 6 months).
• TA qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Experience working with and supporting children with SEND.
• Hold a driving licence and willingness to travel to surrounding villages.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support and assist in general teaching assistant duties across year groups.
• Support in-class activities and some time out of the classroom.
