Job summary

Vision for Education are seeking Teaching Assistants to work in Primary Schools in Corby and surrounding villages, supporting pupils in 1-1 or small groups. The role emphasises building relationships with children, especially those with SEND, using calm and empathetic approaches.

Ideal candidates will have DBS clearance, two references, and a genuine passion for education; TA qualification is desirable but not essential. This is a full-time role with driving access often required.

Qualifications

• Have some experience or working in a school or similar setting in the last 3 years (6 months minimum).
• Hold a TA Qualification (desirable but not essential).
• Have some experience of working with children with SEND.
• Have a genuine passion for working in education.
• Hold a full enhanced DBS clearance.
• Be able to provide two recent references to support your work with children.
• Please note, this is a full time role and access to a car is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work in Primary Schools in Corby and surrounding villages, with children 1-1 or in small groups.
• Build relationships with children, particularly those with SEND.
• Support behaviour as a form of communication and apply calm, empathetic approaches.
