Bath & North East Somerset Council is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to start in September 2026 in a Bath school. The role involves supporting students in and out of lessons, primarily with children who have EHCPs, and is offered on a permanent basis for up to 25 hours per week during term time.

SEND Teaching Assist Required for September 2026 start !

• SC3 5-6 (Up to) £26,427 - £26,846pro-rata (Up to) £17,389 - £17,664 actual.
• Up to 25 hours per week (Term-time only) Permanent role.

Perfect role for those taking a gap year before or after university.

There are a number of positions available and we are willing to take applications from those willing to work fewer hours. Please specify on application how many hours you would like to work – each working day equates to 5 hours.

An enthusiastic member of support staff is required to join a dynamic, successful, collaborative team. The role includes supporting students both in and out of lessons, primarily working with children with EHCPs.
