Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to work in a specialist educational setting in North Somerset from September 2026. The role supports children aged roughly 4–19 with ASC, SLD, PMLD, and other needs, across day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements.

SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: North Somerset

Salary: £93 - £110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Start Date: September 2026

About The Role

Connex Education is recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to work within a specialist educational setting in North Somerset from September 2026.

We are looking for individuals interested in a mixture of flexible day-to-day supply work, short-term placements and long-term opportunities, supporting children and young people with additional needs.

The setting supports pupils aged approximately 4 to 19 years old with a range of complex learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), communication needs, sensory processing difficulties and associated medical needs.

This is a highly rewarding role where you will play a key part in helping pupils access education, develop independence, and achieve their individual goals within a nurturing and supportive environment.
