Job summary

Prospero Teaching in Greater Manchester is seeking a Teaching Assistant with SEND experience for a permanent role at a specialist school in Bury. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, supporting students aged 11-19 across five learning pathways, helping them access tailored activities and sustain engagement.

You will contribute to a multidisciplinary team, uphold safeguarding standards, and participate in progress measures and therapy programmes to help students flourish academically,

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people with SEND or complex needs.
• A patient, nurturing approach with high expectations for every student.
• Strong communication and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to support across a range of needs and learning styles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored learning activities for students with SEND.
• Support therapy programmes and social-emotional development.
• Assist students to regulate, re-engage, and progress academically.
